Body
‘Body’ is a small photographic work depicting the human body alongside visually engaging architecture. Throughout life, I developed a complex relationship with my body, which has impacted my identity. This is what inspired this project – we build our identities from a foundation (our bodies in this case), like buildings. The relationship between our body and our identity is not something we would typically consider – most people, in my experience, simply see their body as a vessel for living, or forget it exists entirely. For this reason, I want this project to leave people with their own questions about their body, and encourage them to explore further how their body correlates with their identity.
