The Only Spectacle His Eyes See Is Death Oncoming
This series acts as an expression of an individual’s internal conflict with the question of their existence. Specifically within their hometown. Through the work the urban landscape of their home is used as a visualisation of their nihilistic world view formed from the artists isolationist tendencies. We move through the hometown of the artist through their warped perspective of it , a perspective of anguish towards the place that formed them. 'I always wonder if I was born somewhere else that could hold my attention how my life would differ , I feel if I was born somewhere that could hold my attention I would care for life and the fleeting nature of it.
