Behind The Badge
Growing up in a footballing home, I have always been fascinated with the culture of football fans, ranging from the highest level through to local teams, and the effects that these clubs have on their respective communities. In this project, named Behind the Badge, I focused on the community and culture belonging to an objectively smaller team, Stevenage Football Club, where I integrated myself with fans of the club, travelling to games home and away, to create a visual representation of lower league football fan culture, looking to show how this club affects the community members both young and old on matchdays.
